Sumproduct ranking works on one column but not another

    My code =IF(G2=0,0,(SUMPRODUCT(I2:I720=I2)*(J2:J720>J2))+1)

It works if I use column H, but when I use column I, I keep getting an error...

    Help?

    Thanks

Yes, because you have errors (#N/A) in Column I. You need to clear them out first.

As ChemistB noted, you have #N/A errors that can cause problems.

Either get rid of the errors and use your SUMPRODUCT formula or you can keep the errors and use this array formula**:

    =IF(G2=0,0,SUM(IF(ISTEXT(I$2:I$720),IF(I$2:I$720=I2,IF(J$2:J$720>J2,1))))+1)

** array formulas need to be entered using the key
combination of CTRL,SHIFT,ENTER (not just ENTER).
Hold down both the CTRL key and the SHIFT key
    then hit ENTER.
