    Inserting function that will rank rates of occupancy

    Hi this is my homework for my Excel class. I am currently stuck on this instruction.

    In cell E6, insert a function that will rank the value in D6 based on the occupancy rates of all five apartment complexes, in descending order. Enter the range as an absolute reference. Copy the function down through E10.

    So far this is what I got

    A few of the outputs give me #N/A and some give me a rank number?

    Please don't give me the answer. If you could tell me what part of the formula I should be looking at.

    Ok so I've looked at the range D6:D10 and iv'e made sure it's not text but numbers in percentage formating.
    I ve re read the question and DUH!
