    How to give cells a value

    hi there... im trying to give a row of cells a value of $12 so that when i type i 2 it comes up with $24... im starting a business and am using excell as way ofly checking weekly takings.. hope i explained it ok thanks guys

    i cant get an example as im not sure i understand haha... ok so what i mean is say for instance a laundry 1 wash was 12 dollars and a person got 2 washes i want to write to into it and get $24 as an outcome ... im sorry if im not explaining myself very well :-/

    Column A - Laundry Type
    Column B - Number of Washes
    Column C - =A2*B2
    Data would start in Row 2
