Date and Sum based on criteria

Hi,

I am currently trying to sum sales based on expiry dates, for example if I select a certain period and year I am expecting to see a total for any sales made prior to that date. I have done a sumproduct formula, however I am unable to get to the required outcome (which is highlighted in green in the attached spread sheet). Current outcome based on the formula I have created is highlighted in yellow, which is incorrect. Any assistance would be great.
