Comparing records to result in a list of unique records

Hello,

I have records in a database (list b in sample spreadsheet), I'd like to add unique records (list A), while eliminating any records that are in list b already. So this is not a straight forward eliminating duplicates.

The resulting list should be only records from List A that are not found in List B.

Hi,

One way with a helper column. In C2 enter

copy this down and filter column C for #N/A. These are the column A values that don't exist in column B. Copy this filtered column A list somewhere else and apply the 'Remove Duplicates' functionality on the Data Tools area of the Ribbon.
