commision based on profit

Hello please help me

i just quit my job for a new sales job were i feel more like human than a machine

out here my commision depends on the amount of discount given on selling price please can you help me to create a formula for the percentage of discount and commission earned

here is an example

tag price $1000
selling price $ 600
discount given in % = formula needed for this
commission = 2%
commission earned in $ = formula needed
