I am enclosing an excel file in which I have a table.
I know how to protect the entire sheet, but after that, I want to un protect certain columns or cells.
How do I do that?
For example, in the attached file I want to un protect column D and column F.
How do I do it?

hi Raphael.
1. select only those you dont want to lock (column D & F). press CTRL + 1 to go to Format Cells. go to the tab "Protection". Uncheck the "Locked". press OK.*
2. Now, right-click the Sheet & Protect Sheet. only those you did not select in Step 1 will be locked

I did what you told me and it works.
How, now do I put a password so the user will not be able to un protect what I did?

in the same window you right-click & Protect sheet, you should see an input for you to key in "Password to unprotect sheet"
