Hi,
Was wondering if you’ve heard of any issues with Excel 2010 and excel 2007 .
Excel Files are created in 2007 version with contain formulas and also linked with external files. If I open the files in Excel 2010, all the numbers in the excel file cell numbers are changes to #Name. In Excel 2007, I can open the same excel files and the number stay without any error.
It would be great if anyone could help us to solve this problem.

Please post the formula which results #Name error. May be the formula consist function of some other addin which needs to be enabled in your excel 2010, I believe.

Yes you are right! it is opening properly in the plugin installed PC, but others are not able to view the last saved cell value, but in excel 2007 it is opening with last saved value even though not installed the Plugin. I guess Excel 2010 try to update the link automatically when I open it, If I make it Manual Calculation before open the file, it shows last saved value, Once change to Auto Calculation the formula contain cell value become #Name.
It is would be great if you could help me to solve this issue.

- (Tick) Save External link values
- Security Setting For Workbook Links>>(Select) Prompt User on automatic update for workbook links
