    Subtracting from a date

    Yello. If I have a date in the following format 4/1/2013, how do I make the cell next to it 12 months back? I guess I just want a cell with the current month and the cell next to it to have the same month from prior year. Yank you

    you could just do the date (4/1/2013) and subtract 365, try it out

    Adding 365 won't work when running into a Leap year.
