    Lookup Formula

    you all helped me yesterday with a lookup formula but now i have another one if you would be kind enough to help. with the same look up what if i want the found cell to be multiplied in the rest of the formula: ((v6/u6)*lookup,g6,ad5:ar16) if you could help it would be great

    im not sure if it will if i explain further i want to find the same value of G6 in a section between AO5:AO16 and in the same row 4 columns down multiply that value * AB6/AA6.

    When you say "Four columns down"...
    Do you mean 4 columns from column AO = column AS ?

    =VLOOKUP(G6,AO5:AS16,5,FALSE)*(V6/U6)

    We're confusing terms..
    Columns are Accross...Rows are Down..

    And in Vlookup terms, it's not 4 across, it's the 4th within the array (so it includes the 1st)
    AR is the 4th column within the array AO5:AR16 (AO is 1, AP is 2, AQ is 3, AR is 4).
    Hope this helps clear things up..

    =VLOOKUP(G6,AO5:AR16,4,FALSE)*(V6/U6)
