How to Turn repeated uneven blocks of rows into columns array

    Hi,
recently I've tried to backup my cellular phone book via the website of the cell phone company, and got an UNSORTED excel in this structure:

    XXX
    Phone 0546430653
    FirstName XXX
    LastName
    YYY
    Phone 0545841753
    Phone 035370898
    FirstName YYY
    LastName
    ZZZ QQQ
    Phone 0535318890
    FirstName ZZZ
    LastName QQQ
    VVV
    FirstName
    LastName VVV
    Phone 0546366127

Every block represent one memory in my phone book. The first cell of each block is always merged (A+B columns), and the blocks, as seen in the example, are uneven in their size. I found it very hard to move from this structure to basic columns structure (firstnamelastname/phone). if anyone have an advice how you do it, or another way to sort this data I will really appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Kim

    kimyuval,
The last entry in the list you provided has the phone number AFTER the LastName row. Is this accurate?
If you could upload the exact same list as above, but in an excel workbook, that would be helpful. It would assist in knowing where merged cells are, etc.
Please click the * icon below if I have helped.

Re: How to Turn repeated uneven blocks of rows into columns array

Step #1: Put any headers in column G
    Step #2: Drag the formula in columns A, B, & C down.
Step #3: Put the appropriate Headers in, starting in L4.

Hopefully you can work your way through it. If you are getting errors, check the ranges of the formulas and make sure they are correct.
