Counting in a table

Hi,
I just inherited a excel file from a co-worker and need a little help analyzing it. It’s a huge table with people’s names in column A and from B to S there are activities for each person (in my example file I have simplified it a bit, but it’s still the same idea).

I want the information to be presented like in Table 2. Is there a nice COUNTIFS/VLOOKUP formula that can help me?

Put this function in cell B15 =SUMPRODUCT(($A$5:$A$10=$A15)*($B$5:$D$10=B$14))
and paste it through to E16
