Need a formula that will add weeky values for the whole year

Ok, this might be hard to explain but I will do my best. We have a file at work that tracks parts shipped per day. There are 16 different parts in this file, which are entered in the columns. The rows are the daily dates for the whole year. This is a type of requirement tracking sheet. Now when the secretaries in the office enter the daily shipments into the daily ship log sheet it should update the quantity shipped per week column in the designated sheet containing that particular part. This works using the formula =SUM('Daily Ship Log'!I11:I17), BUT I have to enter that into every cell 52 times for the year and do that 16 times for each part. when I try to drag the formula down to copy it throughout it only increments the row by one so it would be =SUM('Daily Ship Log'!I12:I18), I need it to add the next week. Is there a formula for this, I also have to break it down into monthly totals too but that should be that same concept except with 28,29,30,or 31 days.

I have a suggestion. Tag each day (row) with the week number in a different column and use the sumif() with the condition referening to that week number...

Hi and welcome to the forum

i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards
