    Index, Match and Vlookup problem

I am looking to try and find a solution.

I have an excel spread sheet. With it are mini tables. They are results of local elections for an area. Within that area there are 25 wards.

I want to have on the first worksheet year, ward and it returns the section for that. For example if I look for 2013 and Ashton Ward it returns that section of the table.

Any ideas how to do this? I am presuming that Index, Match and VlOOKUP WOULD BE THE FUNCTION TO DO THIS.

    Thanks

Sorry I didn't put it n before. I have attached the sheet with the new years in. However, I have not put the results in those years yet. I can drop them in later, if that is OK.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi DILIPandey

I have uploaded a complete spread sheet. What I am trying to solve here is one last thing. That is to be able select the year and that returns the data form the appropriate worksheet.

    Hope you can help.

    Thanks

    Sorry DILIPandey

Just noticed that the results from the wards just show from 2012. However they return the data in that ward in that year but they miss the top candidate off. Is this a quick fix?
