    Filter/Search help

    Hi Guys/Girls

    I have a list of data that i require to filter/search from by time as I wish to know who is in during certain times of the day. The problem i have is that the column the time is in is produced in a date time format and I don't know how to get excel to search just for the time from the column.

    I have attached an example worksheet to show you all what i mean.

    If there is a way of excel highlighting people/cells who have a time from within the range 06:00 - 12:00 that would suffice for my needs.

    All help is welcomed

    Hi popipipo,

    Yes that would do the trick for me but did you set a formula to do that or just highlight the cells by manually selecting them and choosing yellow?

    There is around 11,000 rows of info i need to search through on the full worksheet.

    Re: Filter/Search help

    Look at 'conditional format' formula
    =AND(MOD($D2,1)>=1/4,MOD($D2,1)<=1/2)

    Hi RobJon73

    Try conditional formatting, select A2:E12 and for the rule:
    =AND(MOD($D2,1)>=TIME(6,0,0),MOD($D2,1)<=TIME(12,0,0))
    Regards Kevin
