Display Value Based on the current date.

Hi,

Please help me to find the value based on the current date [COLUMN B]which the data should be picked up from the balance amount last [COLUMN E]. It should display in E14 cell.. Since this will keep updating as the new transaction takes place as the value in E14 will be linked at a different location.

Hi DLC,

To be clear, you want to sum all the transactions that occurred on today's date? If that's what you want:

Hi Brumbot,
Thanks for prompt reply but when I put this =SUMIF(B4:B13,TODAY(),E4:E13) it gives me sum of all the transactions but I need to see only the last transaction taking place which is B9 and the correct answer and tomorrow when I do transaction the value should update.

So you want the last value in the balance column to be put in E14?
