=SUMIF(A2:A33,J6,B2:B33)*3.1416 you should be able to see it aswell on the pic i put up if it is working properly.
thanks.
J6 is blank.
I6 Sorry but it stillcomes out as 0
I6 is blank
How did you get the values in column B - if they are text values then you'll get zero for your SUMIF - are they derived from a formula?
yes they are a text value
Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

That would explain why sumif doesn't work.
You can't SUM Text...you can only sum numbers.
You need to convert the TEXT to real numbers.
You can do that by copying a blank cell, hilighting the range, right click - paste special - values - Add - OK.
Although that will have issues with the 3/4 type values.
Those should be entered as .75 instead of 3/4
everything in b that matches up with k6 to sum up all the ones in c and multiply
not every-one can access file-hosting sites (or whatever that is)
