Re: sumif i think

How did you get the values in column B - if they are text values then you'll get zero for your SUMIF - are they derived from a formula?

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

That would explain why sumif doesn't work.
You can't SUM Text...you can only sum numbers.

You need to convert the TEXT to real numbers.
You can do that by copying a blank cell, hilighting the range, right click - paste special - values - Add - OK.

Although that will have issues with the 3/4 type values.
Those should be entered as .75 instead of 3/4

not every-one can access file-hosting sites (or whatever that is)

Please upload a sample workbook here
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
