    Number to Fiscal Year Date?

    How may I change a cell with 4 to a fiscal year date? (Fiscal Year starting October)

    i.e.
    Cell H4: 7
    Cell E3: =H4 (it returns as April-1-2013)

    So every time I change the number in Cell H4, Cell E3 will update.

    Thanks!!

    April-1-2013 is what I want as the result, not July-1-2013.

    When I enter 7, I want the result to come out as April-1-2013.
    If I use =MONTH or other date formula, it will return as July-1-2013.

    Hope this is more clear? =D

    Yes, the fiscal year is from Oct-1-2012 to Sept-30-2013.

    Re: Number to Fiscal Year Date?

    If you always want the date to be in the current fiscal year then try this formula in E3

    =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()+92)-1,9+H4,1)
    Audere est facere

    Excellent formula! However, it returns as 4-1-2013 when I want the result as 4-31-2013.

    You said you wanted the first......

    April only has 30 days, if you always want the last day of the month try like this for April 30th

    =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()+92)-1,10+H4,0)

    or should it be March 31st? If so change the 10 in that latter formula to 9
