Hi
is it possible to have a formula that automattically enters a date when something is written in the cell adjacent to it? (if possible i would like this without VBA coding, as its for a check list that will be emailed around a number of people and I am certain that not everyone will click to enable macros)
to explain, I have two columns A & B. When I write write something in cell A1 i want the date that note was written to be filled in automatically in cell B1.
Any takers??

Put this formula in B1 and drag down as required -
