Changing negative numbers into whole numbers

I need a formula that will show a negative number as a positive.

For example I have a formula in place that will always subtract 180 from a whole number in cell A1 which can be anything from 185 to 270 which is fine but sometimes the number in A1 is 90 to 175. If the number for instance is 160 then 160-180 will be '-20' is it possible to show that as '20'.
