Can I create a formula to look to a certain tab for a cell

I have a file with close to 100 tabs of data. All the tabs have the same type of information in the same places just for different units. I'm trying to create a rollup tab to point to the weekly actual results for each tab. The tabs are titled with the unit number and I have a listing of the unit numbers on the rollup page. Right now I am just using ='tab name'!E6. Is it possible to make a formula that will use column A number to go to the tab titled that number?

A B C

Unit # SALES ACTUAL
54891-000 BUCKS COUNTY CAMPU ='54891-000'!E6
26345-000 FRANKFORD CAMP

You can use this in C2:

=INDIRECT("'"&A2&"'!E6")

then copy it down.

Hope this helps.

Hi and welcome to the forum

If your sheet/cell ref is in A!, use this...
=IFERROR(HYPERLINK("#"&A1,"this goes to sheet1 A1"),"")
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Sorry, I guess I don't understand. When I try these I can't get them to work right. The data I want to pull is in cell E6 on each tab. The name of each tab is in column A. Should I just be copying your formula's exactly or am I missing something?

OK wait, we have just given 2 completely different answers to your question - because we both interpteted it differently.

Do you want to just reference a cell on another worksheet, or do you want to be able to click on a cell, and it physically takes you to a reference on another worksheet?

Sorry, just reference a cell on another worksheet. I finally got the Indirect function to work. I spelled a tab name wrong . My fault. Thanks!!
