    IF OR Formula Help

I've created two separate IF statements using ISNUMBER(SEARCH to replace the custom filter function to target a specific type of work. Only problem is that it requires two separate columns. I'd like to combine into one column using the OR fuction. I've tried this numerous times/ways and can't seem to get it to work. What am I doing wrong? See the attached workbook, which I think is self explanatory. Help from a guru would be much appreciated!

Or use * in between VBMS can easy found, rather than fix criteria like "VBMS;D" / ";VBMS"
eg: abc VBMS, VBMS zzz, AAAVBMS, VBMSxyz, will return true as well.
