Hello!
I am working at a company that is trying to transfer its lotus 1-2-3 documents into Excel. We are having difficulties converting some workbooks that have a summary sheet. This sheet pulls certain data from the other sheets (there's 199 other sheets) into a summary table. In lotus, this is done by putting the equation into the first and second cell, then highlighting the column and pressing "fill by example". I can't find an equivalent excel function.
So the formula in the excel summary sheet looks like this:
=1!B8
=2!B8
.
.
199!B8
Auto fill isn't working.
Does anyone know how I can do this?
