    Question Formula for conditional formatting based on text in another cell

    I cant figure out the formula to colour the text in B1 if A1="sold"

    This was my best guess:

    Conditional formatting--> Formula is--> =if(A1="sold")

    Anyone have a better idea?

    Hi dbwoods11,

    You are almost there... use remove "if" from the formula and try again.
