    Table Tennis Rankings (elo?) Help with design

    Hi
    I have searched the forum for a Table Tennis Ranking spread sheet .I have attached a basic idea but with out any functions . Any wizards out there or a link to some more help would be appreciated

    Hi,

    This will get you the new Rankings for two players after a single match based on your criteria. I'll leave you to design a method of updating your master list of Rankings.

    Here's how I calculated points and new rankings. I used your setup, I modified your table to only include the minimum in each range in Col A (because that's how Excel looks things up) and called the table PtSpread

    The light blue cells are the only cells with formulas in them. Let me know if you have any questions.

    As with XOR, the sheet doesn't automatically update the rankings in Col B. It also assumes that the higher ranked player will be in Col F and the lower ranked in Col I

    substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires
