    Hide and protect formulas

    Hey guys please
    I have alot of formula on C6: C36
    how can hide and protect them so that they dont get erased
    but people can still enter data into A6:A36 and B6:B36
    Please any help

    You need to select the cells that you want people to enter data into (A6:B36) > format Cells> Protection tab> Uncheck locked. Then you can protect your worksheet (with or without a password) and people can only enter data into the unlocked cells.

    substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

    hi kuzna26.

    1. select the entire worksheet first by pressing CTRL + A or click on the box on the left of Column A & on top on row 1. press CTRL + 1 to go to Format Cells. go to the tab "Protection". Uncheck the "Locked". press OK.*

    2. now select only those you want to lock (i.e. C6:C36). again, CTRL + 1 & go to the tab "Protection". Check back the "Locked".*Hide the whole column if you wish to.

    3. Now, right-click the Sheet & Protect Sheet. put a password there if you want to. only those you did in Step 2 will be locked
