Question Use value/ formula from another sheet

Hi, a friend of mine send me a loan calculation sheet. I want to be able to send data to that sheet, calculate it and automatically send the result back to my sheet that I'm working on. Is this possible?? In advance many thanks for any help.

Greetings,

Jairo

That would be possible with a macro. Possibly even making an add in. You need to supply a sample workbook if you want someone to take a look at it.

Hi -

If the loan calculation sheet is an Excel spreadsheet you should be able to reference cells directly between the two spreadsheets.

Re: Use value/ formula from another sheet

Hi and welcome to the forum

What you want sounds fairly easy, however to be able to offer suggestions, we will need to see what you are working with. i would suggest you upload a sample work book, (all sensitive data removed), showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
