Percentage added to a column help please

My worksheet has "my cost" price in column F, In column G is selling price. Is there a formula I can use to "add" a percentage and have it put that price in the G column.

Example: say I wanted to mark it up 25% over my cost and have that marked up selling price display in column G ?

Thanks to all the excel wizards here.

Re: Percentage added to a column help please

I hope it's ok to add a question to this thread:

Using the formula givin works perfectly to what I needed.
    Part 2 question now.....
    Column- F = my cost
    Column- G = selling price
    Column- H = msrp
    Column- I = map price

Adding the percentage to my cost is working exactly like I need, But....sometimes the percentage comes out to more than msrp (we dont want that),....and sometimes it will be Under the msrp (which is good, what I want)
but under map price also (cant have that). Is there a formula I can use to accomplish all this? To stay well above cost, under or at retail if need be, but at or above map pricing.

Thank you for all your help here, this forum is great!

What do you want the answer to be if the selling price is over the msrp?

What do you want the answer to be if the selling price is under the map price? BTW: What is a map price?

Give us some examples of what you want.

if its over msrp, then the answer should be to just equal retail price.

if the sell price is under map price, the answer should equal map price. Map price is "Minimum Advertised Price" set by mfg. so you are not supposed to advertise and sell under map pricing

In G2: =IF(F2*1.25>H2,H2,IF(F2*1.25<I2,I2,F2*1.25)) and copy down.
