    match and concatenate

    Hi all

I have run into a small very annoying bump trying to do a lookup in an array...

I want to do a formula as follows

    =MATCH(E23;CONCATENATE(VLOOKUP(E4;Isolationsmateriale;2;FALSE)&"_"&E2&"_"&VLOOKUP(E15;Sheet2!I21:J80;2;FALSE));-1)

    but it wont work...

The CONCATENATE part should retur the value

    A.2_Cu_Kol1

wich is the name of a table ive defined... but instead it returns the value

    "A.2_Cu_Kol1"

and that the match formula cant reckognize as a table-name.....

Any1 that could tell me how i get the text value of the 3 cells put togheter to an textstring that the match formula actually can use as an reff to a defined table??

    Best regards
