Date Picker - can't change start date

Hello,

Someone kindly put together a spreadsheet to calculate loans for me (I realise there is a template, but I needed something simpler). However the cell where I pick a start date only goes back as far as Jan 2013. Could anyone tell me how I allow it to go back further ( I only need 2010 to 2019 ).

Put the cursor on cell C10 (Start Date)

Under the Data tab, press on Data Validation, then choose Data Validation... press the Clear All button... press ok...

You should now be able to enter any date...

Let me know if it still does not work.
