Sorting and counting data

I am trying to
1) sort
and
2) count exact phrases as shown in the picture.

re-read - you need a macro if you also want to sort - not my area of expertise

you can put the count into the top row of the group if required using
assuming data starts at cell A2
put this into C2 and copy down
=IF(A2=A1,"",COUNTIF(A2:A28,A2))

do you need to have the result in the middle of the group - not sure how to do that exactly

Hi and welcome to the forum

Please do not upload a picture of your file...rather, upload a sample of your workbook, showing what data you are working with, a few samples of your expected outcome is (manually entered is ok) and how you arrived at that. (exclude sensitive info). Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
