Highlighting all cells in the last 12 hours

Hi I am new to this forum and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to highlight all cells in a spreadsheet during the past 12 hours.

I have tried conditional formatting:

Cell value greater than:

=NOW()-0.5

and also:

=TODAY()-0.5

But this does not seem to work?

I wish to highlight all cells in column B that have dates within the last 12 hours.

In B1 Conditional Formatting write:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

Then select paintbrush and extend formatting to all other cells

I must be doing something wrong?

I would like the cells to highlight all dates during the past 12 hours (Using the computer's clock).

I have attached a snapshot (I was unable to attach the full spreadsheet for some reason).

It works. Only your data in B column are only dates (6.6.2013) and don't have time. So now-12hours is greater than 6.6. and it don't highlight it
