Need help figuring out what equation to use!

    Hi Excel Forums,

I have a quick question for you! I have a table that has a Data Validation drop down menu: Capture.PNG

Is there a way to make an equation that states if my drop down menu says "Conventional" it uses equation A and if it says "FHA" it uses equation B. I tried using IF statements and VLOOKUP, but it got confusing because my dropdown menu has 4-5 items that all use different equations. Could you guys assist me? If this doesn't make sense or I'm not clear enough please let me know and I can try to expalin further.

P.S. I want the calculations to show up on a different page of the excel sheet. So if my drop down menu on page 1 says "Conventional" I want the equation related to the word "Conventional" to pop and put its results on page 2. Possible? Here is a picture of the table from the second page. I want the highlighted box to be where the calculation is placed: Capture 2.PNG. Sorry for being such an Excel noob :/
