I've been trying to figure out how to do the inquiry below for a while and came across this forum via google. Needless to say, after searching around, this place is a great resource! I registered and have bookmarked!
I am trying to create a project summary file which pulls data that is manually entered into one sheet and populates the values on another sheet. Normally, that's easy.
Now, maybe my inquiry is easy too but I'm unsure how to do it. The "Summary" sheet has a month typed in when the file is created for that month. Based on that month entered, I want the data cells on the "Summary" sheet to pull data from the "Data" sheet for that particular month.
I've attached an example to help clarify. In this, based on the month entered in cell C1 on the "Summary" sheet, I'd like C4 on the same sheet to show the data in cell H8 on the "Data" sheet. The same forumla method would also apply for C5, C6, 13, 14, 15.
Let me know if I need to change formatting methods for the month cells/rows, etc.
