Red face Converting rows to columns in different sheets

    Hiya,

I am trying to get the information from one sheet that goes along a row to another sheet that will have the information going down a column.

I want the columns to go down each cell changing the Alpha but not the Number so A1, B1, C1 and need whatever information is in the first sheet to flow through to the second sheet if it changes without having to change anything in the second sheet and want to be able to drag down A B C without manually typing.

    Any help would be amazing.

    Thanks

without seeing the worksheet it sounds like the transpose (paste) function might be your answer....the transpose is in the special paste area....basically. highlight your data, cntl-C, then go to your new worksheet and right click and go to paste special you should see a transpose radio button....HTH

Hello, Is there a way to be able to use this formula the opposite way so converting columns to rows? In the same spreadsheet.

    Thanks

Re: Converting rows to columns in different sheets

Deleting the rows cause the formula to decrease the formula range have you seen the formula reference after deleting certain rows?

Re: Converting rows to columns in different sheets

Once i delete certain rows it says =INDEX('Feb13'!#REF!,,ROW(H1))

Id like the spreadsheet to pick up whatever is in the row so if say row 10 is removed that data is gone but the previous row 11 is now row 10 so whatever is in there needs to be picked up in the same column as old row 10.

I have attached the most recent copy of what im working on so you can have a look.

    Thanks
