Hi guys here is a much eaasier way to understand my query.

what formmula can i use to automatically fill up cells exemption to base tax once basic pay and status is updated?

surely you can do a little better explaining yourself?
you will need to add in a couple of new columns to specify category and sub category,
Then rearrange your table into a index/match 'able format and use an index match or if statement to calculate what you are after.
Im fixing my table right now. might to a vlookup. imma put the salary range then do the vlook up
