hi JT1561, the cell references seem to be a mess, so without seeing the file, i'll just follow suit. try this in Sheet1!D3:
=IF(COUNTIF(Sheet2!B:B,A6),"Visited","")

that is to find in Sheet 2, column B whether A6 (in sheet1) appeared. if it does, put it as "Visited". otherwise, blank.
