Need a formula to pull data from another worksheet that falls between a date range

I need a formula that will pull specified data from the first worksheet in the attached example that is within a certain date range. I've tried to find some usable formula from previous posts and I've tried vlookup but I can't get it to work for my specific workbook.

I need a formula that will pull all the data that has a B or E in the first column of the Main Info worksheet and put it into the Escrow worksheet within the date range specified on the top of the Escrow worksheet. There are notes on the example document that I posted.

I have the Main Info worksheet that has a bunch of data in it for what will be an entire year. So I need to pull specific rows of data from the first worksheet to other worksheets for example between January 1, 2013 to January 31, 2013 that either has a B or an E in the first column in the Main Info worksheet.

Could you not just use autofilter?

That would work for only part of the ultimate goal with this spreadsheet. We'll be separating the B & E from the T into separate spreadsheets since they belong to different offices and then we'll be calculating the amount of open files and closed files and cancelled files, and calculating how many files in each county, and in each city which will be on a separate sheet so that we can have month totals which can be calculated at the end of each month. So ultimately we need the information broken down and calculated in more ways than the autofilter will do. I just need help with the first part of being able to pull information from the first page within a date range.
