question about updating cells(with fomula inside) automatically

I have a fomula saved in C1, like "=A1+B1". And I am using the same fumula all around my work sheet. For example, if I copy

it to C2, the fomula will be changed to "=A2+B2". That is good.
Howerver, my fomula will be updated quite often. Let's say we updated it into "=A1-A2". In this case, I have to update all

of the cells which using the same fomula. I am wondering if there is a way to save a "pointer" or "reference" to any other

cells which I should used the fomula. After I updated my foumula in C1, they will get updated automatically.

Edit formula in C1
On the right bottom corner of a cell a black plus sigh will appear (+)
When it's appear double click it.
And formula will extend all the way down.

If you don't want in all cells, then grab the + sign and drag formula down.

Thanks mate. Your solution is perfect. But I just want it work smarter.
I am wondering if there is a way to let my fomula work like a function. The funciton is defined in C1, and it takes two values before it as parameters.
Other cells just "call" this function, and also use the two values before itslef as the parameters.
