Need a formula to Pass/Fail data entered based on several variables....

Hi.....I work quality control and would like to see the data "Pass" or "Fail" based upon specification data.

The worksheet that I enter data has several columns

    Product # / Factory / Weight / Length / Width / Palm Thickness / Finger Thickness

I would like to add columns next to each that display "Pass" or "Fail" based upon what I measure.

Another worksheet in this file contains the Factory Specifications. It just lists the different factories in a table with product numbers and what the measurements should be. One product number can have up to four different factories, all with slightly different specifications.

I wrote a good VLOOKUP formula for a specific variable(i.e. "Length"), but I cannot figure out how to write a formula that will change with varying factories for the same product numbers.

Any assistance would be hugely appreciated!......this is my first real post....and not too sure if this is very clear.....so please let me know if there is further clarification needed.

At least for me, a small sample workbook would help.

Can you please upload a small representative sample workbook?

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    daily measurements for example.xlsm

Sorry to post under VBA....I thought this subforum was for formulas.

Would like the formula to populate the "Pass"/"Fail" (or "P"/"F") in column next to entered data.

Hope the attachment is clear enough....THANK YOU!!!!!!!
