    Dividing the the total sales per month (Rental business)

    Attached is a report showing transaction item with a total at the last column. The report pertains to equipment rental. The computation of the Total is the regular monthly rate multiplied by the duration of rental. Base on the available data, especially on the start and end date, I want to know if there is a formula to divide the total into its respective month. Like for example, an item that has total of 20,000 is from April 15, 2013 to June 15, 2013, I should have something like this:

    April 2013 May 2013 June 2013
    5,000 10,000 5,000
