my sheet has Start and end dates and each row can be for a transaction in a different country (there is an additional sheet with a country name and the holiday list).
I've arrived the formula with all theses, but the forumal is very long, I would like make it short.
I've attached the example as well.
any help would be apperciate. thanks in advance.

Formula has a reference to an external file, can you provide that as well ? If possible, move the relevant sheet from that external file to "help.xlsx" file only. thanks.

Okay.. use below formula:-
Formula:
=NETWORKDAYS(B6,C6,holiday)-1
where "holiday" is a defined name. Press Ctrl + F3 to see the logic if you wish , else ignore as that name is automatic and dynamic
