Lightbulb Building a cascading calculator based on user input..

Building a calculator based on both user input, and data on a second tab for the workbook.

The idea is that customer selects from a drop-down box, based on a description for a product they want (row 14). Then, they input a footage for the length of this product (row 16).. This will create a PN#, that i want to input in to row 18. Row 18 will be a combination of Data tab, column A, PLUS the footage inputted in row 16 (formatted in three digits)..

As an example.. If they select the first choice from row 14, and input a footage of 10, will spit out a PN# of FGXMPMPAF-MBF010.

In addition to the PN# being created, i want it to create a price as well for row 20. This formula will take the base cost of the item selected in row 14 (Data tab, column C) plus the PER FOOT price of data tab, column D (times the footage inputted in row 16), to spit out the cost.

As an example using the same PN# as the previous example.. would spit out base cost of $390 plus per foot price of 4.90 times 10 foot, for a total price of $439. This will output in row 20..

Take a look, let me know if this is do'able, and how. I'm an intermediate user, but i have a lot of instances where this type of data mining would be REALLY helpful for me and i know this will save a lot of time.

Thanks for your help in advance!!

Everything is covered, but i want to change the row 14. I want them to choose by description, and then that choice selects the PN#. You had changed the choice from data tab, column B to column A.. I want it to remain column B in the drop-down.. but still give the same data in all the other fields.

You can also use both columns if you like (if they know code)...
