    #VALUE Error

Hello, I know this is a simple problem but my limited knowledge has me stumped. If the formula =IF(Data!$J8="Erinn",+Data!F8,"") returns a zero value, then formula =IF(F8>1200,(+Q8-1091)*0.025,"") it displays the #VALUE error. This prevents an add up function from working. Any help most appreciated.

    Hi,

What precisely is in Data!F8 (and Q8 for that matter) when you get this error?

I believe you will be having Text Data in Q8 cell instead of Number

Hi there, Its a value. The amount of a sale. The formula is to work out their commission.

    Re: #VALUE Error

Also, if the first formula returns a number, the amount of the sale, all else works fine. F8 is the sale value, Q8 is the nett sale after deducting tax. The commission is then calculated on the nett sale value in Q8
