    Validating a cell value

    I am newbie. I need to make that the value enter in the cells of column A have to be multiple of the value in the column B if not
    it should give a Stop Error: Value no multiple of B

    Can someone help me?

    Hi,

    Assuming your data begins in row 2, with cell A2 active, go to Data→Data Validation in the Allow box scroll down to Custom and in the Formula box type: =MOD(A2,B2)=0

    Add an appropriate error alert. Copy validation to other appropriate cells.
