    HELP probably not a huge problem but im stuck

    Attached is what im working on and i need a self adapting formula to count the # of similar items in Column B. For example how mamny 05,s their are then i can drag it and it will do 08's. any assistance would be great.
    After that im going to need to generate the percent usage out of the total number of items. Example: their are 5 05's. and 1549 items in total, what percent the 05's are out of that 1549.

    Chaps chaps!

    Forum Experts and Gurus with these post counts should know better the rule about thread titles. Please be aware.

    @kyle
    Despite the responses it would be appreciated if nevertheless you would change the title.

    Re: HELP probably not a huge problem but im stuck

    Unfortunately your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

    Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title. I'm sure if you change it to something more meaningful someone will be along in a moment.

    To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
