    multiple IF argument solution

    =IF(F19="Test",Q19,"")
Currently workes effectivly to provide the date that is in q19 provided the cell is not blank and test is text in f19, if test is not a met argument the display cell is blank- GREAT.

Problem is that in addition to the above formula i need the display cell to show today() date if the Q19 is blank and test is text in f19. ( currently get 1/0/1900 as the display in thins case)
I have tried if/or but must be doing something wrong

    thanks in advance

    Re: multiple IF argument solution

only problem now is that i get a date if test is in f19 or not,
Im looking to get a date back only when test is present in f19, if q19 has a date then thats the date i need to see otherwise see todays date but only when test is true.
    hope this makes sense.
Thank you for assisting with this. ive been at it for a while.

    Re: multiple IF argument solution

I just tested the formula in my post and it seems to work correctly. I should note that after my original post, I did see some conditions in which the formula wouldn't work properly and so I updated it. Are you using the original formula or one currently in post #2?
