Data validation with the table feature on another worksheet dosent work

Hi,

I want to use a table on another worksheet as source for a data validation drop down list. Find it practical with the table cause when adding more data to the table the new data is automatically included in the table, its dynamic. But this dosent seem to work with data validation when the table is on another worksheet. If i have the table on the same worksheet as where i want the drop down list to appear it works like i want to but not when its on another worksheet.

Am i doing something wrong or is a table on another worksheet not possible to have as a source to the data validation?

You mean with offset and a counta formula? Well not in this case, i know (i think at least) how to use it. I kind of like the table feature where the formatting comes automatically and its easier, at least i think so. I find it a little bit strange it only (seem) to work when its on the same worksheet as where i have the data validation drop down list.
