I would ask if there is a way to solve this problem.

I have a list of numbers to 4 decimal places (0.0001), and I want to find the groups of numbers as close to each other, are contained in a range of proximity equal to 0.0006.

result of excel (numbers closer present in a movable range of 0.0006)

I have not found any function that can provide the result directly.

Try this:

In B1 define step
In D3 pull formula to the right (and only to the right)
In D4 pull formula right and down as much as you need

Form C column (including C column) to the right don't have other numbers or you'll get wrong result

Extend ranges

Thank you replay to me. so the range number is 0.0006 for closer numbers. inside your file there is not it http://my.jetscreenshot.com/19530/20130702-phr0-32kb

Criteria in B1 is 0,006
Change it to 0,0006 and data will extend.
You would need to extend number of Groups to get all data but I had to keep it shorter due to file size.
