Data filtering

i have en no. of names,which are repeated.i need to shortlist the names into new column.Instead of use filter option
Is it possible???????.See the attachment for clear idea,where i mentioned my requirement in result column.

Hi,

Excel 2007 introduced some new functionality to remove duplicates. So just copy your column A to column H, select column H and on the Ribbon pick Data Remove Duplicates.

Excel 2010 is no different.

The Ribbon is the blue area above the worksheet containing all the Menu Items and Icons. Look for 'Data' then the 'Remove Duplicates' icon (in the Data Tools section in the Ribbon).
